Nurse Practitioner, Sally Green

Sally our Team Leader/Nurse Practitioner is fully trained to diagnose and manage a range of conditions including minor ailments. She is fully trained in diabetes, contraceptive methods, including emergency contraception. She is an independent Nurse Prescriber and is able to issue prescriptions, if appropriate Sally assists the Duty Doctor with telephone triage calls.

She is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Nursing Team.

 


Practice Nurse, Andrea Staves

She carries out health checks, dressings, ear assessments, Doppler assessments, smears, immunisations and vaccinations, including travel vaccination clinics. She is also responsible for the management of coronary heart disease.

 

Nurse – Catherine Ogg

Catherine carries out health checks & smears. She is responsible for the management of chronic diseases such as diabetes.

Practice Nurse, Kirsty Severn

She carries out health checks, smears, immunisations (including baby immunisation) and vaccinations, including travel vaccinations. She is responsible for the management of chronic diseases such as diabetes.

Practice Nurse, Ailsa Lewis
Ailsa is responsible for the management of chronic diseases, Asthma and COPD. Appointments for Asthma and COPD are mainly held on a Wednesday.

 


Specialist Nurse for the over 75s, Michael Smith

He is our Specialist Nurse for the over 75s. He carries out reviews of patients and identifies any areas that they may find difficult. This may relate to any medical condition, problems with medication, side effects, concerns with mobility, washing, eating or preparing food, worries about not sleeping, recent falls or trips, feeling lonely worried or depressed.

 Treatment Room Nurse – Lesley Chuck
Lesley carries out health checks, dressings, Learning Disability Assessments and immunisations and vaccinations.
