Under the Freedom of Information Act anyone can make a request to the practice for information that we hold and the practice is obliged to inform the applicant in writing whether it holds the information.  If we do hold the information requested then we have to supply the applicant with it within 20 working days.  We are not obliged to comply with repeated or vexatious requests for information.

Anyone writing to us for information which they think we may hold must describe clearly the information they are requesting.

Some types of information are exempt from the requirement to make them available, including personal information which comes under the Data Protection Act 1998 and some information the disclosure of which would harm the commercial interests of the public body or a third party.

You may request the practice’s Freedom of Information statement from the practice manager.
